Foods to Avoid When Trying to Lose Weight
White Bread
All other breads are fine except for white bread. This is because your body utilizes it similar to sugar and you will find yourself hungry again in no time.
Sugary Cereals
Sugar should always be avoided when trying to lose weight. It causes sugar crashes and makes you hungry quicker. While it will give you energy, it also causes you to get off track with your diet.
Whole Milk & Cream
Both products taste good but they are full of fats. Alternatively, you could go with flavored soymilk or even rice milk.
Vegetable Oil
Vegetable Oil contains a lot of fat. We suggest avoiding it and other oils all together. However, olive oil is okay occasionally. Nevertheless, usually you should be going for baked meats as they help you slim your waistline and keep your heart healthy.
100% Fruit Juice
Fruit is good for you but fruit juice is not usually. Before purchasing 100% fruit juice, we suggest reading the label to see what the ingredients are. Additionally, limit your servings because it has many calories.
Potatoes
Potatoes are not bad by themselves. However, topping such as cheese, butter, and sour cream are full of fats. We suggest eating them plan with veggies or salsa.
Soda
All soda is bad, even diet soda. Soda contains a ton of salt and causes you to retain water, which results in hunger. We suggest drinking water when you are trying to shed some pounds and inches.
Fast Food
Fast Food restaurants will try to lure you in with their so-called “healthier options” yet we recommend avoiding them altogether. If you train yourself to stay away from fast food restaurants, you will not be tempted to back slide.  Additionally, you will be saving yourself some money as well.
Processed Meat
Processed meat is usually referred to as an easy option. However, it is high in sodium and will have you gaining weight instead of losing it.
Processed Meals
Finally yet importantly, processed meals should be avoided because of the amount of salt that they contain. Fresh food is much better for you and allows you to see a difference in your weight.
