As an old tradition, brides of the East spend a lot of time and effort to prepare for their wedding day. One part of that ancient tradition, which exists to this day, is removing excess body hair.
So how do you achieve flawless, smooth skin? A popular procedure called Sugaring does exactly that. Sugaring means removing hair from all over your body using sugar syrup.
They say this method was created by Cleopatra herself. You can try it at home, as it is pretty much the safest hair removal method. It becomes almost painless after a few sessions.
At-home Sugaring ingredients:
8 tablespoons of sugar
4 tablespoons of water
4 tablespoons of lemon juice
Mix all components and stir vigorously. Pour the mix into a pot, and place on low heat with the lid on. You’ll have to constantly stir the mix as it burns easily. In about 15 minutes, the mix will begin to turn brown and bubble up. Remove the lid and boil for another 5 minutes.
Once your at-home sugaring mix is ready, you have to cool it down. Test it by grabbing some of it, then rolling it into a ball. If it works, you’re all ready.
So how do we do this procedure at home?
Apply small amounts of warm syrup to areas where you want to remove hair, and enjoy the amazing results.
If the mix cooled down too early, you can heat it up again.
After you’ve removed hair from all desired areas on your body, wash off excess sugar syrup with warm water.
You will feel some pain during the first few sessions of sugaring, but your skin will get used to it, and eventually you won’t feel any discomfort from this hair removal method.
This method is very reliable, and, since it removes hair for at least 2 weeks, fast and almost free.
